Update to prove I am not a total cyberhermit [Dec. 17th, 2009|12:29 am]

The Princess and the Frog = WIN ifyouignoretherandomhillbilliesandshit. It's a Disney movie about gumbo. And romance too, but mostly it's the gumbo. I look forward to seeing just how many of my fandoms cough up Princess and the Frog fusions in the near future--I've got money riding on a Rogue/Gambit adaptation. And by money, I mean a sense of gloating self-satisfaction.

More Scorpius Malfoy eventually, and I've been thinking about poking at a Hikaru no Go oneshot I wrote EONS ago. Stupid Hikaru and his stupid random melodrama that refuses to be edited out. Real Life is strange and successfully preventing me from doing any writing beyond one paragraph of a weirdass original story about a girl and her vampire dog.

Have watched too much Atlantis and Buffy in recent days. Am consumed with desire for Ronon/Cordelia. I have a sickness, yo.

Oh, thanks for the virtual gift thingy, bookshop! I...had no idea they existed, and nearly missed it because of my perpetual fear of my own inbox, but it was a nice surprise and very much appreciated.

I'll see what I can do. Once someone forcefully pries me away from my epic MST3K marathon.

Um, in that case I would like to recommend another princess+frog+gumbo book (but uh, with way less romance probably).

Witches Abroad by Terry Pratchett!

LOVE THAT BOOK SO MUCH. Not my absolute favorite Pratchett novel, but it's definitely in the top ten. I want to be Nanny Ogg when I grow up. Though I'll pass on the eighty thousand kids.

But think of the legions of terrified daughter-in-laws, you'll miss out on! ^_^

Hi! I'm one of the people who loves your stories. They always make me laugh and cheer me up after a bad day. Then I noticed you had a LJ, so I came over. I'd like to friend you.

I do hope RL has gotten better!

Also, looking at your entries, I saw the one about HnG ideas you've had. It's been quite a while since I've seen such interesting ideas for this fandom! Only you said you had five, and wrote about three. May I ask to hear more about the others?

Oh, wow, it's been a while. Sorry, this is the first time I've glanced at my LJ in AGES. Thanks for commenting!

That's fine! Sometimes RL gets in the way.

Are you... still alive? Your fanfics are like my secret crack, and I'd like to friend you.

Friend requests are always so awkward.

So hopefully the stress of RL hasn't become too traumatizing, and you can come back and read this and be like, "yay. Great, another random demanding stalker."

Oh, hey, friend away. I'm afraid I really haven't been active in fandom for some time--RL concerns getting in the way. I really don't have a clue when I'll be posting/updating fics again, particularly with any sort of regularity.

I know EXACTLY what you mean about friend requests. I almost always wind up chickening out.

Mmm, stalkers.

Friend me back. I demand it. :D

And, er, is that a normal reaction to stalkers?

I AM SO SUBTLE WHEN I BASH TWILIGHT.

I obey! And now I'm feeling the strangest urge to salute.

Re: stalkers--only if they sparkle. Do you sparkle?

OH NOW I GET IT...IT'S NOT MY FAULT I AM ILLITERATE IN TERMS OF BOOKS WITH MISLEADING TITLES ABOUT S

Salutes are unnecessary. I'm happy to settle for a meek "yes ma'am"

Re: sparkles. Well, people say I have a very sparkly personality! ... I shall refrain from mentioning that this is a very strong self-delusion and these people are probably snickering behind my back... I mean. Erm.
